Summary:
The experience was quite beneficial and although I have had prior exposure to some of the tasks, I surely did learn something new. I still do not know how or where rss feeds fit, that task was confusing. The ability to download content from the NY Public Library holds great merit and will be used.
I do not know if I am sufficiently versed to say I am proud of my blog but I do very much appreciate the opportunity to be an old dog learning new tricks. If we were to do something similar in the near future, I would jump right in. Thank you for the tricks.

OverDrive at NYPL
Was successful in downloading Bob Hope and Jack Benny, just one chapter but enough to see the possibilities of the ebooks from the New York Public Library, what a collection.

Photos
This week we will take a picture of whatever and save it somewhere. The whatever will be an archival photo that is in the collection of the Stamford Village Library.
I am also in the final stages of putting a grant together to acquire the "Bloodgood Collection."

Learning Activity - Lifelong
Reviewed the 71/2 habits and downloaded the contract. Think I will work on digital images, scanning them, using old photos from our collection.

Images of Water
Got a grant out today that will assist in digitizing images of water in the Northern Catskills. The SVL will use the historic and archival collection within the library to complete this project.
